Ruckas manor in Cesis, Latvia
The Ruckas manor and park complex is a protected cultural monument built in the 18th century.
During the First World War, the estate used to housee a military medical institution of the Russian Empire. After World War II, it turned into the Rutsk Tuberculosis Hospital, which closed in 2005.
In 2014, the international summer school “Get Well City” for architects, designers and urbanists was held in the vicinity of the estate. During the exhibition, various graffiti displays emerged in the park.
In 2016, after a fire at the estate, restoration work started here.
