Rauna Castle, or Ronneburg, was one of the main residences of the Archbishop of Riga. It is located on a high slope in the center of Rauna, in the Cesis region. The construction of the castle began in 1262.

By the 17th century, the fortress got destroyed and has been in ruins ever since.

Now you can climb the only restored tower with a beautiful view of the city from the top.
