Bobsleigh track in Sigulda, Latvia
The bobsleigh track in Sigulda has been open since 1986, being one of the few tracks in the world accessible not only to professional athletes, but also to public.
On the Sigulda route, you can ride a vučko-vehicle in winter, and in summer – a wheeled-bob. Those who are into skeleton, may try riding the “frog”. The track allows one to reach speed up to 125 km/h.
Visitors can get to the observation deck with a panoramic view of the ancient valley of the Gauja river, the city and the bobsleigh track. Also, you can walk around and explore all the bends of the track and its structure.
