17-km long Saulkrasti beach is located 46 km from Riga.
Surrounded by a pine forest and offering its visitors fine and gentle yellow sand, it is equipped with changing cabins, benches and trash cans.
Children playground and outdoor volleyball grounds are available for sports enthusiasts; in summer you can also rent catamarans and jet skis.
