Sensorium: Interactive Entertainment in the Dark. Riga, Latvia
In the heart of Riga, you will find the only venue of its kind in Northern Europe capable of immersing you in a world where only hearing, smell, touch, and taste exist. Visitors can enjoy a captivating tour in the dark, a unique experience that helps them discover the world from a different perspective. A visit to Sensorium is a great idea for a date, a family weekend, or a team building event.
During the 60-minute tour, while embraced by complete darkness, you will visit four different rooms representing a market, a city, a park, a café, and a living room. In each space, you’ll be surrounded by familiar objects, sounds, and smells, but you’ll need to navigate without sight.
During the tour, you’ll be able to engage all your other senses. For example, you’ll feel the smells of familiar spices, hear sounds of a market, and touch and identify fruits and vegetables. In the cafe room, you can enjoy snacks and drinks, which are also perceived completely differently in the dark.
The Sensorium team offers various activities:
– A 60-minute guided walk around Riga wearing a special mask, which allows you to get to know the city in a new way;
– A date in the dark, including a tour and the opportunity to spend time alone in the cafe room with snacks and drinks in a romantic atmosphere;
– A birthday party in the dark to celebrate your birthday in a unique way;
– Educational programs for schoolchildren;
– Team building and corporate training sessions in the dark.
