Paupys Quarter in Vilnius, Lithuania
The seven-hectare Paupys Quarter is a former industrial zone which nowadays represents a modern complex designed by a team of seven best architectural companies in Lithuania. Residential buildings, business district, creative and public spaces and a market have become a true attraction for both locals and tourists.
More than 170 million euros were invested in the development of the Paupis area. The architects made sure that the project harmoniously blended into the nature and history of the city, and also retained all the necessary high-class elements.
Paupys Market is a food court with products from the best manufacturers and cafes. Just around the corner, in a separate building, one will find Pasaka Cinema Boutique, which also is employed as a conference room.
Particular attention is paid to various public spaces, such as squares, fountains and art installations. In order to lessen the burden of automobile presence and to make the area comfortable for people to spend time in, modern underground parking lots are being built.
