At the very end of the Lithuanian part of the Curonian Spit, beyond Nida, the dunes of Parnidis are located. This is a lovely spot to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. There is also a sundial and a trail to the “Valley of Death” with marvelous coastal views.

The highest flashing sand dunes in Europe are located on a narrow Curonian spit, between a Pervalka and a Juodkrante, and reach a height of 60 meters. Four villages and two cemeteries rest under the dunes.
