This authentic restaurant in the heart of Haapsalu, located near the Haapsalu Castle, next to the main street of the Old Town, is famous for serving delicious dishes prepared with local products. Come here to have lunch and some rest after visiting the castle and walking in the park around, you’ll definitely like it.

Once you place an order, you won’t be bored: the restaurant hall has a lot of details that catches the eye, for example, curious wood carvings.
The interior is also made of wood; not only the walls here are wooden, but also the furniture, which is also pretty extraordinary. In the hall, there is a rocking chair, which is a true magnet for children. In cold weather, you can warm yourself by the fireplace, and in summer, you may enjoy your meal at the spacious terrace.

Talumehe kõrts has a great selection of food featuring meat and fish dishes and a large selection of snacks. Prices are very affordable: snacks (3-8€), soups and salads (7-9€), main dishes (8-20 €).
There is a special kids menu, which includes not only all-time favourite french fries, but also pasta with meatballs.

You’d better come here when truly hungry, as the portions here are indeed large.
