MiniZoo Terrarium in Parnu, Estonia
This exotic terrarium is located in the center of Pärnu, next to the picturesque Valli Park. Here you can get acquainted with many rare animals.
MiniZoo is home to crocodiles, tegu, lizards, iguanas, turtles, tarantulas and many species of snakes. The zoo is known for its venomous inhabitants: you will not find such specimens anywhere else in the Baltic States and even in Europe. Animals are brought here from all over the world.
MiniZoo Terrarium has snakes of various sizes, from baby snakes that can fit in your palm to large pythons and boas. This is a contact zoo, which means that you will have a chance to hold its inhabitants. You can pick up or wrap friendly, calm snakes around your neck. Don’t be afraid, they are not venomous. Children will especially enjoy this experience.
Every now and then, “babies” are born in the terrarium, so you can witness their first “steps”. Some are even sold as pets by the owners.
A unique entertainment for visitors is the opportunity to eat a live cockroach. No, this is not a joke. The owner suggests eating a cockroach at the end of the tour and claims that 150 people have eaten them already. This funny experience is included in the ticket price.
