Tervetes reservoir and bird watching tower in Latvia
The reservoir in Tervete with an area of 70 hectares belongs to “Latvijas valsts meži” (Latvian State Forests). It is a popular fishing and recreation destination where you can rent a boat or catamaran. On the territory of the reservoir, there is camping area, sports grounds, tables, places for fires and tents.

On the territory, you will find a 10m-high bird watching tower with two observation platforms. The first 3m-high site is open-air, the second 6m-high is roofed.
