Viljandi is a city in the southern part of Estonia, on the northern shore of the Viljandi lake. Until 1919, it was known as the Fellin Lake, which derived from the German language.

What to see around:

1. The ruins of the Viljandi Order Fortress: the main attraction of the city, offering beautiful views of the lake.

2. Suspension bridge: a graceful, swinging 50-m long bridge leading from the ruins of the castle to the park, hanging 15 meters above the valley.

3. Schloss Fellin Boutique Hotel: probably, the most authentic hotel in the city, with a historic setting, unique interior, antique furniture and a picturesque park. It is located near the castle, the suspension bridge and the beach near the lake.

4. City Hall: one of the four oldest stone buildings in the city with a recognizable feature – an old clock showing the exact time.

We recommend planning to spend at least half a day in the city.
