This Slavic cuisine restaurant, encouraging its guests to enjoy hearty meals in an authentic atmosphere, is one of the favorite spots for both residents and guests of Tallinn. The restaurant is located on the Town Hall Square, having been pleasing guests with delicious food and impeccable service for 23 years.

Three halls – the large, the golden and the tavern – are decorated in the Slavic style, but all have different vibes. In summer, a large terrace overlooking the Old Town is operating. There are also many interesting details in the halls, from wall paintings in the Slavic style to decor elements like bears and samovars.

The Slavic atmosphere is prolonged by the waiters wearing embroidered shirts, traditional cotton shirts and sundresses. In the evenings, you may relax to live music and folk dance entertaining programs.

The extensive menu embraces a variety of dishes like homemade borsch with bacon or cabbage soup served with homemade horseradish tincture as an aperitif, as well as stew cooked according to an old Russian recipe or boar meat in red wine. Also, on the menu, you will find several types of dumplings, from classic Siberian to exotic ones, for example, with venison and bear meat. Vegetarians will appreciate such dishes as eggplant and squash ‘caviar’, homemade vareniki and potatoes with onions.

The presentation of dishes and drinks is original too: caviar is served in pancakes decorated like barrels, and dumplings are served in a pot under a special bread cover and with a carved wooden spoon. Vodka is poured into glasses from a 1-meter height, which looks very impressive.

For all dishes, only the best products are selected and cooked on the spot. Troika offers its guests 16 types of tinctures of its own production which can be ordered as a set with themed snacks: branded garlic bread with lard, pickles and mushrooms.

The restaurant will be happy to provide its premises for your celebration and offer several banquet menus. Also, Troika holds master classes on making dumplings, making it a great idea for a stag or hen party or a family day.
