Tukums Old Town, Latvia
Located about 100 kilometers from Riga, Tukums is a picturesque small town with a well-preserved historical center, ancient wooden architecture, and beautiful gardens.
The city was first mentioned in historical sources in 1253. At the end of the 13th century, the Livonian Order built a new castle here. Tukums received city rights in 1445.
While walking along the narrow cobbled streets, pay special attention to the old doors tailored by carpenters and blacksmiths.
The city is often used as a film set.
