Ligatne is a city located on the winding Ligatne River, whose banks expose sandy outcrops, beautiful cliffs and caves in the rocks.

1. Stunning caves

There are over 300 artificial caves in Ligatne, where the locals used to store wine and food in the old days. Now they can be visited with a guided tour.

2. Lustuzis cliff

One of the natural sites of national importance is Lustuzis cliff. It is located in the very center of Ligatne. You can enjoy the view of the cliff from the opposite bank of the Ligatne River, as well as climb the observation deck equipped above the cliff.

3. From the Lustuzis cliff along the Ligatne river, there is a trail to the Anfabrikas rocks. In autumn, you can observe salmon and taimen spawning there.
