Viesata trail, Latvia
The trail running by the fast Viesata River is located between Jaunpils and Tukums in Petertale. Along the trail, there are many bridges, benches for rest, places for picnics and bonfires, boards with information about the river, cliffs, local flora and fauna, and games for children. Observation platforms are equipped with benches. At the end of the trail, there is the Spunnu boulder with a ladder to get to its top.
The 5-km walk to the boulder is not obligatory as you can reach it from the other end of the trail by car.
In springtime, waterproof shoes are a good idea for the walk.
