In this speakeasy bar in the centre of Tallinn, you will find an exquisite interior, original cocktails with a cool presentation and the opportunity to try extravagant drinks.

The speakeasy is a concept of secret bars in the USA that operated during the Prohibition era. Whisper Sister maintains this tradition: the entrance to the bar is challenging to find and to get inside, you have to call the phone number on the door. The bar’s name also refers to the Roaring Twenties, when whisper sisters referred to the ladies who opened such secret bars in the USA in the 20s-30s.

The building where the bar is located also has a rich history of more than 100 years. It served different purposes until Whisper Sister – one of the best bars in Tallinn – opened here in 2016.

The bar is divided into several zones. Each area has a unique interior and its own atmosphere. There are seatings for couples as well as for bigger groups. You can enjoy a drink on cozy sofas and armchairs, at the bar or at the table.

The choice of drinks here is huge. If you’re into the good-old classics, the bartenders will easily help you with anything from a traditional Old Fashioned to a modern Paper Plane. There is a wide selection of spirits as well as bits of beer and wine, if you’re not in the mood for mixed drinks. Whisper Sister provides you with a unique experience, which you won’t get in any other bar around town.

As for the cocktail menu, at first, we were introduced to the “Past & Present” menu, consisting of guests’ favourites from all previous Whisper Sister menus with a few new additions each release. This menu also has five alcohol-free cocktails to choose from. Then there is a secret menu, which the bartenders call “Avant-garde”. Those drinks come with a small show and it is mesmerizing to watch both the preparation and the presentation. Cocktails look like a work of art, served in glasses brought from all around the world.
