Abandoned attractions at Vaiku Pasaulis
This abandoned amusement park in a small town between Vilnius and Kaunas features a ferris wheel, a race track, various swings and merry-go-rounds that slowly rust and gradually collapse.
The park was built in 1976, being the first park in Lithuania with actual land-based roller-coasters and a ferris wheel. Now the entrance to the territory is open, and tourists often explore the park. However, this place might be closed soon, so you’d better not postpone a visit to the park.
You can visit it free of charge at any time, but we recommend you to do this during the daytime.
