The flooded Kiipsaare lighthouse

Home » Объекты » The flooded Kiipsaare lighthouse

The 26m high Kiipsaare lighthouse was built in 1933 about 100m from the coast.

Due to strong winds and waves, the lighthouse tilted to one side and received the nickname “The Leaning Tower of Pisa”. Now, due to a change in the coastline, it is surrounded by the sea, and you can only get to it by water.

It takes about an hour to walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse one way! We suggest that you rent bicycles on site.
